Prominent outback artist Lyn Barnes and renowned jeweller Alan Thomson will launch their eighth annual exhibition in Brisbane following their recent success in the Northern Territory at the Brunette Races on the Barkly Tableland. The Trackside Tribute Exhibition was part of the four day ABC Races centenary celebration in June which was attended record breaking crowds, all keen to be part of the legendary event.

Since returning from the north, both artists have been in a lather of creation producing pieces to go on show at New Farm’s Graydon Gallery from Thursday 5 August. Coinciding with the two week Ekka activities, the exhibition continues to draw followers from both the city and the bush, becoming synonymous with the country focus Brisbane traditionally has at this time.
